"Mi deseo es encontrarme en la mitad del camino entre el arte y la realidad mis obras son momentos congelados de la vida real. Es por eso que mi obra esta claramente influenciada por el POP, lo popular (Andy Warhol y mas tarde en Cuba Raúl Martines). La asumo como un compromiso con mi cotidianidad, mi entorno y los seres que en el habitan, por cuanto no transformo mi modelo en la mayoría de las ocasiones, sino que lo represento tal cual es."
"My intention is to work at the crossing-point of reality and art, to show frozen moments from real life. My art clearly was influenced by the so-called Pop Art (Andy Warhol, later on Raúl Martines, a Cuban artist). I think my art is a compromise: a blend of my daily life, my environment and the people who populate my environment. Most of the time I do not change my models, I depict them as they are."
